Memoriesand Funny Stuff.....

It's the little things.......

These two boys (photo's above and below) were born with hairlips. These boys were so special to me. I wanted to share these pictures for other breeders and for people to know that just because a puppy has a hairlip they are still able to thrive if given the chance. There were no cleft's. These two puppies were able to lead a very normal life and are now happily in a home together with a wonderful couple that adores them. I never considered once putting these puppies down. There were long nights of feedings and care but they now can do anything a normal puppy can do. They eat food normally, drink and even like to chew on treats.

Baxter (I loved this boy! He came to me as a rescue). Thank you Gloria and Eddie for giving him the home he deserves!

Opal Sophia is in her new home but she will be missed dearly. Thank you Thomas and Thuy!

Opal Sophia came to us along with Baxter. Their owners could no longer care for them.

Christy was blessed to find a wonderful new home with Monica in TX.

Hi Kimberly, I just wanted to give you an update on our beautiful baby girl. She is doing well and we are so happy and thankful to have her, she went to the Vet and the groomer last week and everyone fell in love with her!
She is a wonderful companion and just perfect for our family.
We can't thank you enough for her and the love and care you gave her.

Hi Kimberly,

I know you miss her, I have only had her for a little while and cannot imagine how hard it would be to let her go...everything went well at the Vet's, they updated her Rabies Vaccine and gave her a check-up.
She is eating well and is a happy girl. I was a bit concerned about how she'd do while we were all at work, but she's done great! She has had run of the house since day 2 or 3 and has taken over a spot on the couch, she has a bed in every room but the couch is her favorite, ha ha ha!
When we get home she is so frisky! she just leaps up and down and wants her tummy rubbed.
I will keep you updated and send pictures, don't hesitate to email me anytime, I am always up for bragging about our baby :)
I will be sure to give her kisses and hugs from you.
Have a great day!
Monica.

"Just a Dog!!"

From time to time people tell me, "Lighten up, It's just a dog," or,
"That's a lot of moment for just a dog." They don't understand the distance traveled, the time spent or the costs involved for "just a dog".

Some of my proudest moments have come about with "just a dog".

Many hours have passed and my only company was "just a dog",
but I do not once feel slighted.

Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by "just a dog".
and, in those days of darkness, the gentle touch of "just a dog" gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day.

If you, too, think it's "just a dog", then you will probably understand phrases like "just a friend," "just a sunrise," or "just a promise."

"Just a dog" brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust, and pure unbridled joy.

"Just a dog" brings out the compassion and patience that makes me a better person.

Because of "just a dog" I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly into the future.

So for me , and the folks like me, it's not "just a dog" but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past and the pure joy of the moment.

"Just a dog" brings out what's good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day.

I hope that someday they can understand that it's not "just a dog"
but the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me being "just a human.

So the next time you hear the phrase "just a dog" just smile.......
Because they "just don't understand".
